Call for volunteers !

The following is call for volunteers to assist in the delivery of our upcoming Confluence project. We’re looking for assistance mostly with painting, the set-up of the space, and the transportation of materials. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. More details below.

Confluence is a pop-up space activation project that will temporarily convert part of the Park n' Ride at Heritage LRT into a pedestrian plaza. The purpose of the project is to activate under-utilized space adjacent our transit hubs, create amenities that add to the convenience of taking transit, and establish a safe, outdoor gathering space for the surrounding communities to use while the pandemic resolves.

The pop-up is planned to run this summer over the following dates July 21 - 23, August 11 – 13, and September 1 - 3. Most of the volunteer opportunities will take place during these dates.
