Call for market vendors !

The following is call for vendors to partake in our upcoming Confluence project.

Confluence is a pop-up space activation project that will temporarily convert part of the Park n' Ride at Heritage LRT into a pedestrian plaza. The purpose of the project is to activate under-utilized space adjacent our transit hubs, create amenities that add to the convenience of taking transit, and establish a safe, outdoor gathering space for the surrounding communities to use while the pandemic resolves.

The pop-up is planned to run this summer over the following dates July 21 - 24, August 11 – 14, and September 1 - 4, all of which are Wednesday - Saturday. The space will transform into a community market, open to vendors, on the Saturday's from 11:00 - 3:00. There will be a more limited amount of spots for vendors to set up during the weekdays as well.

Please note that the project is subject to COVID-19 public health restriction and dates may be rescheduled or cancelled to meet changes in situation. Due to a limited amount of space not all applicants will be able to participate. Selected applicants will be notified by email the second or third week of May. Participating vendors must have a City of Calgary business licence. Food vendors must have a AHS Mobile Food Handling Permit.
